ISM Call for Board Member Nominations
The International Spaceflight Museum is seeking visionary, engaged, and mission-driven leaders to serve on its Board of Directors.
As we expand our educational outreach, public programming, and preservation of spaceflight history, we invite nominations of individuals who are passionate about advancing science literacy, aerospace heritage, and global collaboration in space exploration.
About the Role
Board members play a critical governance role, including:
- Providing strategic guidance and oversight
- Supporting fundraising and partnership development
- Serving as ambassadors for the museum’s mission
- Contributing expertise in areas such as aerospace, science education, nonprofit leadership, finance, law, marketing, philanthropy, or technology

Ideal Candidates
We are seeking individuals who:
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to STEM education and space exploration
- Have experience in leadership, governance, or mission-driven organizations
- Bring diverse perspectives, global awareness, and collaborative spirit
- Are willing to actively participate in board meetings and committee work
Previous board experience is valued but not required.
